International Media Concepts, a subsidiary of The New York Times Company, works as an extension of the New York Times' collections department. IMC sought a site that would target other large media companies, showcase the companies for whom they provide services, and build brand awareness.

The site achieves a feeling of conservative sophistication, and highlights IMC as an established institution, by making use of subdued colors and a layout reminiscent of a traditional newspaper.

The logo enhances the site's clean aesthetic and, using a globe encased within the letter "C," provides a feeling of continuity while also indicating IMC's global influence.

The images in the photo-collage all serve subtly to reinforce IMC's branding.
